SANTA CLARITA – Today, the Ventura County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (VCDSA) voted to endorse Suzette Valladares for Assembly in District 38.

The over 1000 member-strong VCDSA includes active and retired sworn law enforcement personnel of both the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and the District Attorney’s Bureau of Investigation, along with Deputy Sheriff Trainees, Provisional Deputy Sheriffs, and Reserve Deputies who proudly serve their community and make Ventura County a safe place to live and raise children.

“I am proud and honored to receive the endorsement and support from VCDSA,” Valladares said. “I stand with our local law enforcement who put their lives on the line every day to keep our families safe.”

VCDSA joins a rapidly growing list of law enforcement in support of Valladares, including the Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs, California Coalition of Law Enforcement Associations, California Correctional Peace Officers Association, and the Los Angeles Police Protective League.
