L.A. County Supervisor Kathryn Barger Endorses Suzette Valladares for Assembly

Santa Clarita, CA – The Chair of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, Kathryn Barger, has just endorsed Republican Suzette Valladares in her race for the 38th State Assembly district seat. Since joining the Board in 2016 after the retirement of her predecessor, Michael Antonovich, Supervisor Barger has been a pillar of strength and leadership in representing the 5th supervisorial district.

“Suzette Valladares will bring a wealth of nonprofit and early childhood education experience to the State Assembly at a time when we need serious and effective leadership,” Barger said. “Now more than ever, we must promote and elect emerging leaders such as Suzette.”

Supervisor Barger joins a host of other notable local and state leaders in endorsing Valladares, including Mayors Cameron Smyth and Keith Mashburn, Senate Minority Leader Shannon Grove, State Senator Scott Wilk, Assembly Minority Leader Marie Waldron, and Barger’s predecessor, L.A. County Supervisor Mike Antonovich, and several other elected officials.
