Los Angeles Police Protective League endorses Suzette Valladares for Assembly

SANTA CLARITA – The Los Angeles Police Protective League (LAPPL) has endorsed Suzette Valladares for Assembly in District 38.

The LAPPL, founded almost 100 years ago, currently and proudly represents over 9,900 dedicated and professional sworn members of the Los Angeles Police Department.

“Words cannot express how proud I am to have the support and the honor of an endorsement from the men and women who put their lives on the line to keep our communities and families safe,\” Valladares said.

Valladares recently took part in a Santa Clarity Valley \”We Back the Badge\” parade. She also made strong public statements regarding the shooting of the two Los Angeles County Sheriff\’s Deputies last week. \”The political toxicity and cowardice has to end,\” Valladares said. \”It’s time that every leader, every person with a voice, speak up against the anti-police movement. Our men and women in blue need all of our support.\”

The LAPPL joins a flood of recent endorsements from local and statewide organizations that have given their support to Valladares, including the California Coalition of Law Enforcement Associations, the Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs, Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Los Angeles Daily News, the Santa Clarita Valley Signal, Santa Clarita Mayor Cameron Smyth, Simi Valley Mayor Keith Mashburn, and many more.
