Santa Clarita, CA — Assembly District 38 candidate Suzette Valladares and her campaign team delivered over 3,000 pieces of cleaning supplies and PPE to Child Care facilities and resource locations in Granada Hills, Chatsworth, and Newhall on Thursday, May 28th.
\”Thank you to our community who came together to meet this need,\” said Valladares. \”Because of your generosity, Operation Childcare was able to deliver much-needed supplies to first responders and our essential workforce, specifically those taking care of our children.\”
Operation Childcare was launched in April to ensure that once childcare facilities opened to meet the needs of our essential workforce, that they would have the supplies they need to keep those places clean and sanitized to protect children and workers.
Another delivery is planned for a location in Ventura County. Donations of face masks, sanitizing wipes, gloves, disinfecting spray, and hand sanitizer are still being accepted at KHTS radio station located at 24320 Main Street in Newhall, and at Supervisor Bob Huber’s office located at 980 Enchanted Way, Unit 203, in Simi Valley.
