Acton, CA – former Republican Assemblywoman Suzette Valladares, who is running for State Senate in the 23rd District, earned an endorsement from the California Correctional Peace Officers Association (CCPOA).
In an endorsement letter, the president of CCPOA, Glen Stailey, wrote, “CCPOA represents all state correctional peace officers working inside California’s prisons and youth facilities, and the state’s parole agents who assist and supervise inmates and wards after their release.
“As California residents, taxpayers and staff who serve on the front lines of the state’s correctional system, the members of CCPOA have a direct and vested interest in the future of corrections and public safety. We hope that you will continue your demonstrated interest in developing meaningful reforms that will improve the correctional system and make all Californians safer.”
The California Correctional Peace Officers Association is the latest endorsement added to an overwhelming list of local leaders and organizations supporting Suzette Valladares’ campaign for State Senate, including Congressman Jay Obernolte, State Senator Scott Wilk, Assemblyman Tom Lackey, Los Angeles County Supervisor Kathryn Barger, the Santa Clarita Valley Congress of Republicans, the Los Angeles Police Protective League, and San Bernardino County GOP.
