San Bernardino, CA – Last night, the San Bernardino County Republican Party voted to endorse former Assemblywoman Suzette Valladares for State Senate District 23. The new 23rd State Senate District straddles Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties, running from the Santa Clarita Valley across the Antelope Valley to Victorville. Senators Scott Wilk and Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh represent the current region. Both Ochoa-Bogh and Wilk have also endorsed Valladares.
In their endorsement of Valladares, San Bernardino County GOP Chairman Phil Cothrane stated, “Suzette Valladares has earned our endorsement with overwhelming support. She is a proven Republican leader who will keep violent criminals in jail, work to lower taxes and our cost of living, and empower parents while continuing to champion educational choice.”
Suzette Valladares recently also earned the support of a local grassroots organization, the Santa Clarita Valley Congress of Republicans, and dozens of local elected officials.
