(Los Angeles) – The Valladares for Assembly campaign today announced an endorsement from the Los Angeles Police Protective League (LAPPL). The Los Angeles Police Protective League was established as the recognized bargaining organization to represent Los Angeles police officers from the rank of police officer to lieutenant.
“The Los Angeles Police Protective League is proud to endorse Assemblywoman Valladares for re-election. She is a proven leader who will fight for public safety and supports law enforcement. She has fought to toughen penalties for criminals and keep violent felons behind bars,” said LAPPL President Craig Lally. “We need leaders like Assemblywoman Valladares to keep our neighborhoods and communities safe.”
Assemblywoman Valladares’ record in making public safety a top priority has also earned her the endorsements from the California Correctional Peace Officers Association (CCPOA) the Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs (ALADS) and the California Coalition of Law Enforcement Associations (CCLEA).
“I am running for re-election so I can continue to fight for the public safety of our neighborhoods and communities. The pro-criminal policies prevalent in our state are wreaking havoc – and they must stop,” said Assemblywoman Valladares. “I am proud to stand with law enforcement and will continue to fight for policies that stop the disturbing trend of increased violence and more brazen criminal behavior on our streets .”
